/Cuisine Unlimited transformed the UMFA Café into a sleep, chic cocktail club last night for Salt Lake Magazine’s 11th Annual Dining Awards. Dramatic black and copper-draped tables and arches and soaring floral arrangements of birds of paradise created a champagne atmosphere for Utah chefs and restaurateurs to meet and mingle before the ceremony.
I have a special appreciation for the organizational skills it takes to set up a temporary restaurant, serve guests with grace for a concentrated period, and then make the whole thing disappear in a matter of minutes. Maxine Turner and her crew at Cuisine Unlimited pulled it off with consummate style.
